You arrive at a service call at a house. The home owner explains to you they only have lights in one half of the house and none of the 220 volt appliances are working in any part of the house. However, when they turn on the stove the lights in the other half of the house come on. What would you do to begin troubleshooting this service call and what would you expect to find.
Please keep in mind, we are looking for a service tech. This is one of several questions you will be asked on our test before you interview. This is simply a way to weed out those who are not qualified to work in this position. Smart As$ comments are not appreciated nor will they be answered and is not a cute way to work yourself into a job. A clear answer and following the directions contained in this email will land you an interview and perhaps a new job.
Positiion includes: Weekly pay, health insurance and steady work. We fully expect this part time position to become full time shortly.
Thanks and good luck!
