Reliable contractors are very hard to find in Arizona. Must be the heat. If you or someone you know needs any kind of electrical work done on your home, and you don’t care what the quality of the work is, just as long as it’s CHEAP, call an unlicensed “electrician”. Better yet, call up a handyman. I mean, it’s only wires, right? Who cares if the connections are so loose that they start to smell like burnt fish after about a month or so. If the guy looks like he knows what he’s doing, he must know what he’s doing. Electrical work is not rocket science after all. Anybody with a high school diploma can twist wires, right? Just as long as it’s CHEAP. The electrical fires you hear about on the news could never have been caused by amateur electricians. It must have been lightning. After all, he was CHEAP and he looked like he knew what he was doing. His work was a little sloppy but it got covered up by drywall, anyways. If it works, it must be done to code.
